Witham (née Burk) Alida Ernestine, passed away peacefully at the Hawkesbury General Hospital on April 30th 2015. Alida was a resident of Hawkesbury and Lost River, QC, also formerly of Brownsburg, QC. Beloved wife of late George, loving mother of Malcolm (Marilyn) and Richard (Shirley). Proud grandmother of Brad, Ryan, Lara, Kristina, Jason and great grandchildren Jordan, Kailey, Kalen, Jack Witham and Emma Jane Pringle. Daughter of late Ernest Edward Burk and Annie Alida Silverson of Lachute. Survived by sister Annie Laurie Tomalty (Nelson) of Gimlie, Manitoba and brother-in-law Ernie Witham of Montreal. Predeceased by sisters Elizabeth (McElroy) and Margaret (Gordon). Funeral arrangements entrusted to Desforges Funeral Home, 188 rue Principale, Grenville, QC (819) 242-2113. Funeral Service will be held Wednesday May 6th 2015 at 11 AM in the Dalesville Baptist Church. Burial in the Ogdensburg Cemetery. Condolences may be sent online by visiting www.desforges.ca.
