Alexis Elizabeth Irene Lessard (1953 - 2021)

Peacefully, after a long battle with health issues, Lexie passed away in Ottawa on December 3rd . She grew up in the Grenville area and is predeceased by her parents Lilyan Brigden Lessard and Georges-Henri Lessard as well as her brother Pierre. She is survived by her sister, Heather, and brothers, Stephen, Marc and Georges, as well as numerous nephews and nieces, great-nephews and great-nieces. After studying Library Sciences in Lennoxville, Lexie decided to follow her passion and become a nurse. She exercised that profession in Ottawa as well as Hawkesbury. Known for her love of family, her unique sense of humour and her quick wit — and, of course, her love of dogs, especially Chow Chows — she will be sadly missed by family and friends.
